Public Access & the ada
Jessa is an experienced trainer, having logged thousands of hours of training dogs and clients for public access. We only work with clients in public who fit the definition of a person with a disability under the Americans with Disabilities Act, and whose dogs pass temperament and training evaluations.
Please follow the links below for more information about the legality of handling service dogs in public in the United States. We offer lessons and presentations for people interested in training their own service dog as well as business owners hoping to educate their employees about best practices for serving clients with service dogs.
Virtual Training Courses
Our employee training course, A Businesses’ Guide to Understanding Service Dogs, is now available through Three Headed Hound. This virtual course is full of comprehensive information to teach your employees how to protect your business and customers while providing stellar services to clients with disabilities and who utilize service dogs.
